Chemeketa Community College welcomes applications for a Full-time Nursing Instructor

Position Summary: Chemeketa Community College in Salem, Oregon seeks energetic and teaching-focused full-time Nursing faculty. Chemeketa encourages and actively seeks applications from women, veterans, people with disabilities and racially/ethnically diverse candidates. This faculty position will be committed to student success and is responsible for providing didactic and clinical instruction to students. Participation in departmental and college activities, effective communication with students and staff, and use of technology are essential components. The successful candidate in this position will work on a 172-day contract and be paid for 192-days, per the Faculty Association Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Chemeketa Community College is the third largest post-secondary institution in Oregon, with approximately 29,000 students enrolled from a diversity of backgrounds. Salary: $61,158.00 - $106,677.00 Annually

Minimum Qualifications:

Master's degree in Nursing

Current unencumbered Oregon RN license-OR-eligible for Oregon Licensure (no investigation pending by any State Board of Nursing)-AND-

A minimum of three years of full-time patient care experience at the registered nurse level

Master's or doctoral degree in a related field

Current unencumbered Oregon RN license-OR-eligible for Oregon Licensure (no investigation pending by any State Board of Nursing)
