Patient Safety Technician
Department OverviewThe Video Monitor Technician (VMT) provides continuous care for patients at risk for injury due to delirium, changes in mental status, psychiatric or behavioral co-morbidities. Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, the VMT assists with planning, implementing, evaluating, and monitoring treatment activities of vulnerable patients throughout the inpatient setting through video monitoring and/or direct 1:1 patient care.Function/Duties of PositionTYPICAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:1.
