Department OverviewThe Nurse Navigator will work collaboratively with the faculty experts in Hematologic Malignancies. The NN also works with Knight Cancer teams to include providers from hem medical oncology, surgical oncology, surgery, radiation oncology as well as RNC, CC, and TC for the care of hematologic malignancy patient population. The nurse navigator coordinates the care for the patient prior to the patient's first consult visit at OHSU, and in some cases, through the work up and diagnosis phase of care. This position will work with the clinical nurse manager and other ambulatory oncology nurse navigators to develop standard metrics, identify patient barriers, coordinate smooth transitions of care, and to be available for team members in gathering data fo
