Internal Number: 11822 Department OverviewThe Kidney Transplantation Section of the Division of Nephrology and Hypertension at Oregon Health and Science University (OHSU) is seeking a full-time Transplant Nephrologist faculty candidate at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor. This position consists of a primary clinical assignment at OHSU and a shared call service with the neighboring Portland VA Medical Center.
This position encompasses OHSU's multifaceted public mission, by assisting our Division achieve excellence in education, research and scholarship, clinical practice and community service. Our team is seeking applicants who strive to advance modern medicine via these pathways Function/Duties of PositionClinical care is the primary assignment and clinical duties may consist of: OHSU outpatient kidney transplant clinics (eval, pre, and post-transplant clinics), occasional community outreach clinics, potential remote clinics at our OHSU Health partner locations, kidney biopsies, transplant conferences, inpatient coverage and call (shared with OHSU and the Portland VAMC), and other clinical duties as assigned by the Section and/or Division Heads.
In addition to a broad range of clinical duties, you will participate in relevant quality review and process improvement. Opportunities for clinical research, teaching and education, leadership, career advancement, scholarship and promotion are available to all Division members. Required Qualifications
