Internal Number: 17662 Department OverviewThis position exists within the Department of Medical Informatics & Clinical Epidemiology (DMICE), an academic unit in the School of Medicine within Oregon Health & Science University. Medical Informatics is the field concerned with the acquisition, storage, and use of information in health and biomedicine. Function/Duties of PositionThe Career Development Coordinator reports to the Education Manager and facilitates career development for all students, and assists program graduates in securing educationally related employment post-graduation. These programs include a Graduate Certificate in Health and Clinical Informatics (HCIN), Master of Science in Health and Clinical Informatics, Master of Science in Bioinformatics and Computational Biomedicine (BCB), Doctor of Philosophy in Health and Clinical Informatics, Doctor of Philosophy in Bioinformatics and Computational Biomedicine, the AMIA-OHSU 10x10 Certificate Program, the OHSU-PSU Joint Five-Year Degree in Biomedical Informatics and Computer Science, the ACGME Clinical Informatics Fellowship, and the National Library of Medicine Fellowship Program.
