Department: Student Health and Wellness Center Salary/Rate: $46,799 - $53,038 @ 1.0 FTE @ 9mos FTE: 1.0 FTE Position Summary: The Mental Health Triage Counselor will report to the Executive Director of the Student Health & Wellness Center (SHWC). The Mental Health Triage Counselor will provide triage to determine service needs of students, same day appointments, mental health case management, coordination, crisis intervention and follow-up for SOU students with complex mental health needs. The Mental Health Triage Counselor provides continuity of care through the coordination of on-campus and off-campus health services and support resources. The Mental Health Triage Counselor will also develop collaborative relationships with SOU campus partners and Jackson County community providers.
