This position is responsible for providing as needed task support to OHSU Simulation, VirtuOHSU Simulation & Surgical Training Center and CLSB Simulation Center. Tasks may include filing, collating, scanning and assisting staff with setting up for courses being held.
Under direct supervision, primarily provides general administrative support for a project, team, or work unit. Similar to an Office Clerk or Specialist
May also include some basic data entry and report generation.
Under direct supervision, primarily performs basic research or lab activities similar to a Research Assistant 1 or Lab Aide
Undergraduate Program (minimum 6 credit hours), OR Graduate Program (minimum 4.5 credit hours)
Recent (past two years) experience and competency in MS Office applications, e.g. Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel
High level of organization and prioritization skills required to complete work in a timely and efficient manner
Excellent grammar, punctuation and spelling
Exceptional communication skills and organizational skills; strong customer service orientation required
The ability to work on a team
Desire to learn about medical field and medical technology.
Will be working around cadaveric and animal tissues
Physical demands & equipment usage:
Use computer, copier, telephone, fax machine, and other standard office equipment. Prolonged standing and must be able to lift 40 pounds.
