Check patient in on schedule or appoint patient in COVID VACCINE HILLS (84564) or COVID VACCINE EAST (84562) (see tip sheet for details)
If patient has issue with 2 nd dose date,there will be a number on the paperworkthe patient receives. They can call to discuss options.
Fill out vaccine card with nameand 2nddose date/time.
Give patient Emergency Use Authorization document and vaccine card.
Direct patient to next stationandlift windshield wiper to indicatethey are ready for next station if unable to pull forward.
Six months of work experience in a medical office setting, including high volume direct patient contact OR one year of work experience in a high volume direct public contact position
Note: Successful completion of a formal OHSU Administrative Internship Program will substitute for one year of experience. Contact Compensation for confirmation of eligibility.
Knowledge and Skills Required:
Basic computer keyboarding skills including typing of 30 - 45 wpm.
Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without accommodation.
This position will require working in variable weather conditions outdoors. Staff will stand the majority of the day. This position requires frequent intervals of walking significant cumulative distances (ie. transporting specimens/supplies etc.) standing for long periods of time, and bending. Ability to lift or help position (using correctly learned body mechanics) patients weighing up to but not limited to > 200 lbs with or without assistance. Significant use of computers, copiers, multi-line phones, and fax. Must be able to deal with competing needs and priorities of internal and external customers.
