The School of Mechanical, Industrial, and Manufacturing Engineering (MIME) at Oregon State University invites applications for full-time 1.0 FTE, 9-month, fixed-term Instructor position within the area of aerospace engineering. Reappointment is at the discretion of the School Head and Dean.
Applicants must hold a doctorate in a relevant field. Extensive industry experience in an aerospace company or national research laboratory is highly preferred. The successful candidate will be expected to teach undergraduate courses in one or more aerospace engineering disciplines of: aerostructures; aerodynamics; propulsion; space systems; and related disciplines. The candidate will also supervise aerospace-related student organizations.
