The Department of Pediatrics is located with Doernbecher Children's Hospital at Oregon Health & Science University.
Responsible for clinical, administrative, and educational research activities related to the management of patients in the ongoing VCSIP (Vitamin C Effect on Infant Lung Function When Given to Pregnant Women Who Smoke) and ECHO (Environmental Childrens Health Outcomes) clinical trials.
The research assistant duties include, but are not limited to: scheduling study appointments, informed consent process, completing questionnaires with study participants in person and via telephone, collecting and processing biospecimens, data entry, thorough documentation in charts.
Bachelor's degree with major courses in field of research OR AA and 2 years of relevant experience.
MS Excel, MS Word, Epic and/or other Clinical systems.
Experience with Clinical research.
Experience in maternal and child health care.
Experience with Power Point , electronic data bases.
May be exposed to human fluids or tissues.
