The Nan lab is looking for a motivated postdoc to work in the area of single-molecule biophysics, with a particular focus on superresolution imaging and single-molecule tracking of Ras and related signaling molecules. Training will be provided as needed on Ras and Raf biology and/or on SRM.
Salary for this position will align with the NIH Scale .
PhD in a field of study related to the research
3+ years research experience in related fields
Background in biophysics with expertise in single-molecule imaging and/or high-resolution light microscopy, optical and/or electronic instrumentation, data analysis, and basic biology training
PhD in (bio)physics, biomedical engineering, or bioengineering
Prior training in single-molecule biophysics and/or superresolution microscopy
Familiarity with scientific programming languages such as Matlab, C/C++, Python, and Labview
Demonstration of productivity in the form of publications and/or patents
