The Facilities & Property Management (FPM) department at Portland State University is hiring a Lease Administrator to serve as a member of the Commercial Real Estate team supporting commercial lease agreements at PSU. We are seeking a tenacious and self directed person to join our small team of highly talented professionals and collaborate with colleagues within FPM and departments across university to optimize the tenant and campus community experience.
Under the guidance of PSU's Commercial Property Manager, this position coordinates the property management program for FPM and works closely with third-party property management companies. The Lease Administrator is responsible for assisting with the overall management for PSU's portfolio of commercial properties.
This position entails maintaining a positive relationship with tenants, vendors and contractors; as well as handling maintenance requests and coordinating access to secured facilities and tenant spaces. The position also includes contract preparation and review, tracking aged receivables and collection efforts on a monthly basis, annual reporting for internal departments and external partners, quarterly lease reports, and other administrative duties. In addition, the Lease Administrator is responsible for scheduling meetings using an electronic calendar and taking and distributing detailed meeting minutes.
Skilled in the use of Excel as an analytical tool and data tracker.

Bachelor's degree in Real Estate Development.
Commercial Real Estate/Property Management administrative experience.
Familiarity with real estate laws and terminology.
Familiarity with common real estate mathematical calculations.
Experience with Computer Maintenance Management System systems (CMMS) in higher education facilities management.
Ability to problem solve and meet commitments/deadlines.
