This position supports the Information Privacy and Security team and works with the OHSU community to facilitate institutional compliance and integrity with the policies, procedures, regulations, and guidelines pertaining to information privacy and security. The OHSU Information Privacy & Security program (OIPS) assists OHSU in the security, confidentiality, and integrity of OHSU confidential information, including protected health information (PHI).
Provide support to the Information Privacy and Security program and in providing such support is exposed to sensitive and confidential information (includes policy violations, compliance issues, investigations, audits, grievances, and matters that impact business decisions that hold a high degree of organizational risk).
The Integrity Analyst provides support to the department by understanding and accurately applying policies and procedures to a variety of responsibilities, including:
Monitoring IPS mailbox and phone line to timely address or appropriately escalate privacy-related concerns;
Assisting the Sr. IPS Privacy Analyst with updating the IPS Privacy website, including drafting and updating internal and external guidance documents and FAQs;
Assisting the Sr. IPS Privacy Analyst with managing the Privacy Offices internal resources and procedures;
Investigating certain low risk reported information privacy and security incidents as assigned; and
Other projects and duties as assigned.
