Founded in 2005 by Dr. David Dorr, the objective of Care Management Plus (CMP) began as a technology-intensive, innovative primary care model that reduces hospitalizations, lowers costs, and improves health outcomes for older adults with chronic illnesses. The team continues to focus on interdisciplinary efforts to improve the quality of care for patients with chronic illnesses using care managers and information systems. Our mission is to improve health systems and outcomes for vulnerable populations through research, technology, and collaboration.
Under direct supervision, primarily performs basic research or lab activities similar to a Research Assistant 1.
Perform data analysis and interpretation
Determine methods for finding or collecting data
Apply statistical methods to complex data
Report conclusions from analyses
Undergraduate degree in statistics, analytical methods, or equivalent work experience
Enrolled in or on vacation from or is otherwise registered in a Graduate Program (minimum 4.5 credit hours)
Ability to understand implications of findings in relation to scope of practice
Ability to maintain good working relationship with providers and staff to improve research success
Ability to coordinate aspects of project with principal investigator and staff
Excellent written communication skills
Ability to receive constructive criticism
Ability to participate in frequent, open, honest communication with team members
Masters Degree in statistics, public health, or another field which is heavily compromised of statistics courses
3+ years of research experience
Commitment to continued learning
