Eastern Oregon University’s (EOU) Psychology Program invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor, with teaching responsibilities for both campus and online courses within our program.
This is a full-time, nine-month, tenure-track appointment that reports directly to the Dean of the College of Science, Mathematics, Technology, and Health Sciences (STMH).
Appointment begins September 16, 2020.

The successful candidate’s teaching responsibilities will include on-campus and online classes in the psychology program including but not limited to learning, emotion, social, personality, or developmental. EOU is especially interested in experimental psychologist with research interest such as behavioral, developmental, social, or personality. In addition, the successful candidate should be willing to teach a senior capstone experimental course.

• A Ph.D. in a field of experimental psychology from a regionally accredited institution or foreign equivalent is required. • Commitment to excellence in teaching at the undergraduate level is required. • Commitment to establishing a research program, department involvement, and advising students. • Valid work authorization documents are required. • Must Satisfactorily complete EOU criminal and credential background check.
Experience with online teaching and online educational technologies is preferred.
