The Director of Health & Counseling Services (H&CS) is responsible for the daily management and coordination of a student health and counseling center that provides consistent, quality health care and focuses on educating students about how they can develop life-long healthy living skills. The successful candidate will establish strong working relationships with the Center for Cura Personalis, the Office of Health Promotions, and the Resolution Center for Conflict & Conduct within the Division of Student Development. The Director reports to the Assistant Vice President of Student Development.
Master's in Public Health, Health Administration or Higher Education, or related field.
Five years progressively responsible clinical, administrative, and supervisory experiences in a health care setting.
Strong interpersonal verbal and written communication skills.
Working knowledge of software applications and a proficiency in Banner.
Ability to develop personnel policies and to have knowledge of current best practice techniques and procedures.
Experience with administration of electronic medical records system
