The Research Assistant 2 (RA2) duties will include designing and performing experiments investigating the use of small molecule inhibitors as therapies in xenograft models of leukemia. Conscientious attention to detail, good record keeping, the ability to work independently, and strong communication skills in large workgroup are essential. The successful applicant will assist in the day to day work flow and laboratory maintenance including standard molecular and biochemical techniques. Assistance of junior lab members combined with interest and enthusiasm in teaching others will be required. Assistance in purchasing and animal colony maintenance.
