Assist customers in locating, selecting and purchasing various retail items at the retail bakery.
Serve as cashier, check cash register receipts, and prepare daily financial reports.
Arrange supplies and merchandise on shelves and in displays.
Take physical inventory and keep inventory records.
Set up tables, arrange condiments, and keep store or food counter clean and orderly.
Open and/or close register on a daily basis.
Prepare and serve coffee and made-to-order beverages.
Perform related duties as required.
High School Graduation or equivalent OR 16/17 years of age with parental school authorization consent.
Six months customer service experience.
Ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic and outgoing manner.
Ability to bend, twist, and stand to perform normal job functions.
Ability to lift, carry, push or pull weight up to 25 pounds.
Ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence and policy documents, as well as converse comfortably with customers.
Six months or more of barista experience.
Ability to operate a point-of-sale system, cash register, calculator, adding machine and/or computer.
