The BCIT Part-time Supervisor for Student Computing serves as the evening manager for the department, supervises campus computer labs during the evening hours, handles logistics for the student training sessions and lab supplies, and carries out other projects and tasks as directed by the Associate Director of Student Computing Services.

Required Qualification Summary:
Qualified candidates should have some technical skills to help support Student Computing operations, including in the following areas: wireless network connectivity, email, malware, and printer support, however training is provided as well. Qualified candidates will also have had past leadership roles and/or have been able to demonstrate the ability to lead and supervise others. In addition, the candidate must have technical and organizational maturity to determine when to contact full-time staff in case of serious system outages.
