The successful candidate will lead an academic division that consists of comprehensive surgical programs in esophageal, foregut, hepato-pancreato-biliary, complex hernia / abdominal wall reconstruction, and colorectal surgery. The successful candidate will have a proven national/international reputation and experience as a clinical program builder with a strong record of scholarship and funding.
The candidate will be responsible for developing and expanding academic and research programs in clinical research, as well as outcomes research and quality initiatives. The individual will also play an important leadership role in the Department of Surgery\u2019s outreach program with OHSU community partners.
