The person in this position will act as the lead instructor for the Arboriculture program and join a dynamic team, as one of four faculty leads, in the Horticulture Department. Other department programs include Landscaping, Organic Farming and Greenhouse/General Horticulture. This is a Full-time, 175-day faculty position with the primary purpose of instructing students in the practice of arboriculture.
Qualifications: MINIMUM/MANDATORY EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Associates degree in Horticulture, Arboriculture, or a related discipline, plus a minimum of six years of experience working in the tree care industry. Or, Bachelor of Science degree (or higher) in Horticulture, Arboriculture, or a related discipline, plus a minimum of three years of experience working in the tree care or related industry. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in an innovative team environment. Strong communication/organizational skills. ISA certified Arborist
