The Nicoll Lab (UCSF) seeks an energetic full-time junior specialist to add and contribute to the exciting neuroscience research in the laboratory ASAP! Tasks will include, but are not limited to, developing new and exciting projects, and contributing to and supporting postdoctoral fellow projects in the lab.
A bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) or at least four years of research experience.
Ideal candidates will have a basic molecular biology skillset (cloning, mutagenesis, genotyping etc…)
Eager to learn new techniques and comfortable working with rodents.
Background in neuroscience or electrophysiology is not required but would be a plus.
